The PT Community is designed for individuals of ALL Fitness levels from Beginner to Advanced.
As a Physical Therapist, Dr. O'Connor is proficient at providing multiple exercise variations to accommodate all fitness levels. Options include exercises performed in the: standing, sideline, sitting, and on your back (supine) positions.
Once you are able to master an exercise, Dr. O'Connor will provide safe progressions so that continuous functional and physical gains are attained & progressed.
What if I have a diagnosis like Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, or I’ve had a Joint Replacement, or another condition?
YES, PLEASE JOIN! YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!!
Most individuals in the PT community have been diagnosed with some form of: muscle, bone, tendon, ligament, or other musculoskeletal condition. Many members have undergone some type of surgery in the past, such as: Knee, Hip, or Shoulder Replacement, Back Surgery, or other Orthopedic procedure.
It is imperative that you receive the proper in-person care FIRST, for any Orthopedic or Musculoskeletal Diagnosis. All individuals in the PT Community have completed in-person care, have been cleared to resume exercising, and have been encouraged to resume an active and healthy lifestyle.

What equipment will I need for the MyPTCare Community exercise programs?
Dr. O'Connor likes to pride his programs on an "Excuse-Free Exercise Approach"!!
This means that minimal-to-no equipment is required and exercises can be performed Anywhere and Everywhere! Body weight is often utilized as the resistance, and Dr. O'Connor will provide progressions with basic items that can be found around the home, such as: water bottles, bath towels, pillows, etc..
For those interested in utilizing basic equipment, a Resistance Band Kit and some light hand weights can be used. Dr. O'Connor provides guidance withing the PT Community on the components of the Resistance Band Kit and where to purchase.
Is there a schedule I need to follow, or can I participate when it's convenient for me?
There is a Monthly Event Schedule that is posted within the PT Community, and active participation is encouraged.
However, we understand that you may not be able to attend every event. The great news is ... ALL LIVE EVENTS ARE RECORDED and available for your viewing when convenient. We called this "The Replay", so you will never miss critical content!
You also have access to Dr. O'Connor's full (private) PT Library that contains ALL of Dr. O'Connor's exercise videos, handouts, and other helpful tips and tricks that you can access 24 hours a day 365 days from any computer, tablet or cell phone.
What is the cancellation policy, if I decide to leave the MyPTCare Community?
Monthly Members: You can cancel anytime and there will be no more future charges. You will continue to have FULL access to the PT Community platform (all Live Events, access and communication with Dr. O’Connor, the PT Library, etc.) for the remainder of your Monthly Membership. Prorated refunds are not available.
Yearly Members: You may also cancel at anytime and there will be no future charges. You will continue to have FULL access to the PT Community platform (all Live Events, access and communication with Dr. O’Connor, the PT Library, etc.) for the remainder of the Yearly (annual) Membership for enrolled in. Prorated refunds are not available.
Is this considered Physical Therapy "treatment" and will my insurance pay for my PT Community membership?
This is not a replacement for in-person Physical Therapy Care! If you have experienced an injury, have recurrent pain, or are recovering from a surgery, you must receive the proper in-person care first!
ALL PT COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT WITH THEIR MEDICAL PROVIDER TO ENSURE THEY ARE NOT RESTRICTED FROM EXERCISING AND TO RECEIVE APPROVAL BY THEIR DOCTOR, TO ENROLL IN THE MYPTCARE COMMUNITY.
The PT Community is ideal after you have "graduated" (e.g. been discharged) from in-person care, for many individuals are unsure of what to do next?! This is often where individuals get confused, feel lost, experience a recurrence of symptoms, or just stop exercising all together.

Body weight is often utilized as the resistance, and Dr. O'Connor will provide progressions with basic items that can be found around the home, such as: water bottles, bath towels, pillows, etc..
For those interested in utilizing basic equipment, a Resistance Band Kit and some light hand weights can be used. Dr. O'Connor provides guidance withing the PT Community on the components of the Resistance Band Kit and where to purchase.
Is there a schedule I need to follow, or can I participate when it's convenient for me?
There is a Monthly Event Schedule that is posted within the PT Community, and active participation is encouraged.
However, we understand that you may not be able to attend every event. The great news is ... ALL LIVE EVENTS ARE RECORDED and available for your viewing when convenient. We called this "The Replay", so you will never miss critical content!
You also have access to Dr. O'Connor's full (private) PT Library that contains ALL of Dr. O'Connor's exercise videos, handouts, and other helpful tips and tricks that you can access 24 hours a day 365 days from any computer, tablet or cell phone.
What is the cancellation policy, if I decide to leave the MyPTCare Community?
Monthly Members: You can cancel anytime and there will be no more future charges. You will continue to have FULL access to the PT Community platform (all Live Events, access and communication with Dr. O’Connor, the PT Library, etc.) for the remainder of your Monthly Membership. Prorated refunds are not available.
Yearly Members: You may also cancel at anytime and there will be no future charges. You will continue to have FULL access to the PT Community platform (all Live Events, access and communication with Dr. O’Connor, the PT Library, etc.) for the remainder of the Yearly (annual) Membership for enrolled in. Prorated refunds are not available.
Is this considered Physical Therapy "treatment" and will my insurance pay for my PT Community membership?
This is not a replacement for in-person Physical Therapy Care! If you have experienced an injury, have recurrent pain, or are recovering from a surgery, you must receive the proper in-person care first!
ALL PT COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT WITH THEIR MEDICAL PROVIDER TO ENSURE THEY ARE NOT RESTRICTED FROM EXERCISING AND TO RECEIVE APPROVAL BY THEIR DOCTOR, TO ENROLL IN THE MYPTCARE COMMUNITY.
The PT Community is ideal after you have "graduated" (e.g. been discharged) from in-person care, for many individuals are unsure of what to do next?! This is often where individuals get confused, feel lost, experience a recurrence of symptoms, or just stop exercising all together.
